I'm gonna be a...BIG STISTER!!!

Saturday was the day I've been waiting for ALL week long!! We decided to tell my parents about Taylor becoming a big sister.  So on Saturday morning and all through out the day, we worked together teaching Taylor to say "I'm gonna be a big Sister!" - which always seemed to come out "I'm gonna be a big STister!" It was super super cute, so I didn't want to change it!! So we practiced and practiced.  She was supposed to say it to grandma and paw-paw as soon as they came in the door, HOWEVER...I needed Brian to go to the store to pick up a few things so I could make a soup for the Super Bowl...my parents weren't supposed to be at our house til about 4 so Brian had about 20 min. to get to the grocery store and back, he quickly left and while at the store he called me, he had only been gone maybe 10 min...and what do I hear out side?  My parents had just pulled up...YIKES!! I have GOT to make sure Taylor doesn't spill the beans until daddy got back......

So Grandma and Paw-Paw came in and they tried to get Taylor all ready to go outside to play in the snow and build a snow man...because that was the main "reason" they were supposed to come over. So I played a bit of defense - and slowly got Taylor's snow stuff out of the closed and said, lets just wait until Brian comes home so he can go out and play with us.  As soon as we heard the garage door open, my mom said - "Okay, Daddy's home - lets get our snow pants on!!" So she started to get Taylor all dressed and I thought it would be a great time to document with a camera the 1st outing in the snow with Gma & Gpa! Little did they know I switched it over to video - MUHUHAHA!! So then I asked Taylor if she had something to tell Grandma and Paw Paw...and sure enough...just as we practiced (with a bit of encouragement from mommy...and a bit of stuttering) -

I'M GONNA BE A BIG STISTER!!!

The reaction from both my mom and dad was priceless!! It was AMAZING!! I'm so very happy that I was able to tell them FINALLY!! They are both very excited about becoming grandparents to their 5th grand baby!!!

Now the wait until next weekend when we get to tell Brian's parents!! Luckily I don't ride in a car with them several hours a week!!!
